Despite five catches for 101 yards and a touchdown from Luke Junjulas, the Haldane High School football team lost to visiting Bronxville 40-15 in Cold Spring on Saturday.
Teammate Sam Giachinta had 11 carries for 59 yards and a touchdown.
The Blue Devils (0-2) turned the ball over twice. Bronxville capitalized both times, scoring on the pair of turnovers. Haldane will visit Pawling on Saturday.
“We have to do a better job on ball security,” Haldane coach Ryan McConville said. “Pawling will be an old rivalry game for us.”
